Maureen Tillman

Mareen Tillman, age 81, passed away January 8, 2026, in Mobile, Alabama.

Maureen was a loving and devoted wife of 56 years. Early in her life she taught Ball Room dancing professionally. She and her devoted husband Morris Tillman were known and loved as members of the Crew of Columbus and danced the night away at many Mardis Gras Balls.

She also loved animals and birds and had many wonderful pets over the years. Everybody remembers Bama the cat. She spent her last years watching the squirrels, birds and hummingbirds in her lovely back yard.

Maureen was preceded in death by her devoted husband Morris (less than a year ago), by her beloved mother and father, Freda and Maurice Midgette and her brother Mark Midgette.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother Michael (Hettie) Midgette; her sister Claudia (Ron) Caton and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, January 12, 2026, with visitation from 11:00 am until the 12: pm services to he held at the grave side. Internment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
