Michael Anthony Thompson, age 69, passed away in Pascagoula, MS on August 31, 2026.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Stella Alline Williams and C.L. Thompson; and his brother, Larry Thompson.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Candace (Melvin) Turbeville; son, Jonathan (Brandi) Williams; grandchildren, Layla Parker, Chase and McKenzie Turbeville, Lilliona Olah, Mattilyn and Jude Williams; lifelong friend and mother of Candace, Sharon Thompson; sister, Gloria Kimsey; best friend, Gary Neal; and many nieces and nephews; other family members; and many many friends.

Mike was a devoted family man whose kids and grandkids were truly his world. He loved them deeply and took great pride in each of them. His love for his family was at the center of his life, and the memories, lessons, and love he gave them will forever remain in their hearts.

He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that his family will hold close for years to come. While his absence will be deeply felt, the love he gave so freely will continue through his children, grandchildren, family, and everyone who was blessed to know him. He will be loved beyond words, missed beyond measure, and never forgotten.

Services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until the Memorial Service at 11:30 AM.
