Myrtle Parnell

Myrtle Elizabeth (Beth) Parnell, of Mobile, AL passed away Monday, February 14 at age 82.

Born October 29, 1939 in Birmingham, AL, to Annie O Baker; Beth was raised by her Mother and grandparents and a host of doting Aunts and Uncles.

She graduated from Vigor High School in 1958 where she met
Paul Parnell, her husband of 60 years until his death in 2019.

Beth was a homemaker and took great pride in caring for her home and her family.
She was a room Mom and carpool driver and an avid reader.
She was an active member of Orchard Baptist Church, where she taught preschool Sunday School classes for many years.

Beth is survived by her son, David E. Parnell and daughter in law Vikki (Downey) Parnell also by her daughter Kimberly Parnell Naber, her son in law William J. Naber and her grandchildren; Jonathan Parnell and wife Heather (Stahl) Parnell; Elise (Naber) Allen and her husband Andrew Allen and Christopher Naber.



Funeral services will be held on at Mobile Memorial Gardens, Saturday, February 19, 2022. Visitation at 11 am to 12 pm followed by service at 12 pm.
