Oliver Barnett, Jr.

Oliver Barnett, Jr. age 85. A native of Harvest, Alabama and a resident of Irvington, Alabama passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Mr. Barnett retired from the State Highway Department, served in the US Army and was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Barnett; son, Forest Oliver (Amy) Barnett; two brothers, Leon (Nell) Barnett, Jackie Barnett; one grandson, Forest Oliver "F.J." Barnett, Jr; thirteen nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
