Oscar Gonzales, a native of San Marcos, TX and current resident of Theodore, AL, died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the age of 65. He was a US Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Atanacio Gonzales; his mother, Nancy Guerrero Sierra; and his brother, George Gonzales. His survivors include his sons, Dustin Gonzales, Anthony Gonzales and Jason Vaughn; two brothers, Jesse Gonzales and Michael Anthony "Tony" Gonzales; two sisters, Belinda Gonzales (Rogelio) Mendoza and Velma Gonzales (Armando) Davila; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Deacon Joseph V. Connick, III, will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL Wednesday at 2:30 PM. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
