Patrick Curtis

Patrick Leroy Curtis, age 74, was born on August 22, 1946 in Skowhegan, ME, died on Sunday, November 29, 2020. A longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed soccer, the beach, Alabama football and Jimmy Buffet. He was known as a legend in the soccer community and was best known as Coach Curtis. He was a longtime employee of Degussa/Evonik. He was preceded by his wife, Pam Curtis of 30 years. He is survived by his children, Cara Curtis, Breanne (Brey) Bishop, Ryan (Wendy) Curtis, Shannon Curtis; his grandchildren, Ella, Breyson, Jacob, Caleb and Colton; his brother, Shannon Curtis; his mother and father in-law, Gradine and Wallace McPherson; sisters in law, Angie McPherson and Sherry Bourque; brothers in law, Mark (Nancy) McPherson and Kevin (Sandi) McPherson; nephew, Mark Bourque, and other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 4, 2020 at St. Dominic Catholic Church with visitation at 9:00am and Mass at 10:00am. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
