Paul Reynolds

Paul Alan Reynolds, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at his home in Mobile, Alabama.

Paul was a graduate of BC Rain High School and Southwestern State Technical College. He enjoyed coaching his son's baseball team and often played softball at Sage Park. After a long career at Evonik, Paul retired in November 2021. He loved his annual beach trip with his grandson, Ryan, every June along with Nascar racing and Alabama football. Paul was a 40-year-member of a Mardi Gras Society. He loved Mardi Gras, and it was evident by his participation and involvement over the years with his beloved Cavalier brothers.

He was preceded in death by his parents: James Pugh Reynolds and Doris Lucile Byerley Reynolds; and his brother, James Larry Reynolds. Paul is survived by his children: Michael Paul Reynolds (Yulia), Melissa Diane Reynolds; and his grandson, Ryan Alan Stringer. Paul's extended family included many other relatives, neighbors and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, Alabama. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with burial immediately following at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
