Peggy Ann Herrington Ramey, a native and resident of Mobile, AL, went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the age of 66. She was a police officer for the University of South Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, Boykin C. Herrington. Her survivors include her husband, Richard; daughter, Meredith Poole; son, Byron Poole; six grandchildren, Ryan and Megan Ramey, Luke, Isaac, Avery and Lauren Poole; mother, Geraldine Herrington; brother, Neil (Pam) Herrington; sister, Valli (Melvin) Saucer; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, April 5, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
