Reba Joy Shackelford
1935-2021

A native of Cullman, AL and resident of Chickasaw, AL died on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the age of 85. Mrs. Shackelford loved everything Mardi Gras and Joe Cain. She was founder of Chickasaw War Party and was a member of Abbyetts/Mobile Shriners. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas N. Sims. She is survived by her husband, Boyd "Shack" Shackelford; son, Thomas A. (Denise) Sims; four grandchildren, Justin Thomas (Heather) Sims, Melissa Jean (Steve) Polete, Reno Nelson Sims and Sara Alyce Sims; four great grandchildren, Hannah Jean Polete, Hunter Charles Polete, Carsyn Alyce Kountz and Kaci Raylein Sims. Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM followed by graveside services and interment in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
