In Loving Memory of Reyna Oliva Diaz Alonso

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Reyna Oliva Diaz Alonso, who peacefully departed this life on July 18, 2026, at the age of 68.

Born on June 3, 1958, in Cienfuegos, Cuba, Reyna carried with her throughout her life a deep love for her family, a resilient spirit, and a heart filled with kindness. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, beloved family member, and treasured friend whose strength, generosity, and unconditional love left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Reyna dedicated her life to her family, always placing the needs of her loved ones before her own. Her warmth, compassion, and selfless nature made her home a place filled with love, laughter, and treasured memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved.

She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Carlos M. Valdes, and her beloved sons, Yoel Valdes and Yoandy Valdes. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends, all of whom will continue to honor her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to family.

Although our hearts are filled with sorrow, we find comfort in the love Reyna shared so generously throughout her life. Her memory will continue to guide and inspire us every day, living on through her family and all whose lives she touched.

Funeral Services

Funeral services celebrating the life of Reyna Oliva Diaz Alonso will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Con profundo pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Reyna Oliva Díaz Alonso, quien partió en paz el 18 de julio de 2026, a la edad de 68 años.

Nacida el 3 de junio de 1958 en Cienfuegos, Cuba, Reyna llevó consigo durante toda su vida un profundo amor por su familia, un espíritu resiliente y un corazón lleno de bondad. Fue una esposa, madre, abuela, familiar y amiga muy querida, cuya fortaleza, generosidad y amor incondicional dejaron una huella imborrable en todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Dedicó su vida a su familia, poniendo siempre las necesidades de sus seres queridos por encima de las suyas.
