Richard Burroughs

Richard Albert Burrougs, 71, of Mobile, AL passed away on February 23, 2024. Rick was born on August 3, 1952 in Tacoma, Washington to Herbert Burroughs and Ruby Branum Burroughs.

After graduating from Davidson High School, Rick served in the Army during the Vietnam war while stationed in Korea. Rick continued serving his country by working with the Army Corp of Engineers until his retirement. Rick was an avid fisherman who took every opportunity he could to go fishing.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Ruby Burroughs.

He is survived by his two children, James Albert Burroughs (Carla) and Natasha Marie Burroughs; five beautiful granddaughters; brother, Terry Eugene Burroughs (Debi).

In honor of Rick's lifelong service to our nation, he will be laid to rest in the Spanish Fort State Veteran's Cemetery in a private ceremony.
