Richard "Richie" Harry Crist II
Richard "Richie" Harry Crist II, a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026. Born on September 5, 1965, to Richard Crist Sr. and Ethel Reneke.Richie was a graduate from Davidson High School. Then later went to trade school and earned many certificates throughout his life.
Richie was a man of many talents and an exceptionally hard worker. He found true joy on the open road as a cross-country truck driver, while simultaneously utilizing his sharp technical mind as a skilled electrician. Known to family and friends as someone who could fix just about anything, he was always ready to lend his hands and his expertise to anyone in need.
Outside of his work, Richie lived life with passion and energy. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing in the local Alabama waters and woods. He loved the creativity of artistic skating and the pure thrill of speed skating.
Richie leaves behind a family who loved him dearly. He is survived by his parents, Richard Crist Sr. and Ethel Reneke; his brother, Jack Devlin; his uncles, Larned Rawlins and Frank Rawlins; his aunts, Larnette "Doll" Rabiett and Frances Crist; his cousin, J.T.; and his close, lifelong friend, Peter Palmer. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
