1941-2018

A native of Mobile, AL and resident of Daphne, AL died on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the age of 77. Mr. Ayers was a veteran of the United States Army having served 3 tours in Vietnam and worked for the Mobile County Sheriff's Department for 8 years. He was a Patriot and loved his country. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Robin Thomley and Tracey Gill. He is survived by his wife, Frederica Ayer; daughters, Becky (Randy) Anthony, Michell (Dewayne) Myers; son, Robert W. Ayer; four step sons; several grandchildren. Graveside services and interment are scheduled for Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 10:00 AM in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
