Robert Gerald Chandler

Mr. Robert G. "Jerry" Chandler, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in Clinton,MS. He was 85 years old. Jerry was born in Ashland, MS. His father Bob Chandler and his mother, Sadie Chandler moved to Mobile, AL in 1942 to work on "Liberty" ships for WW11. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Chandler. He is survived by his two daughters, Cathy (Greg) Pouncey and Beth (Bill) Lodwick. He has six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Jerry graduated from Auburn University in 1960 and earned his MBA at the University of South Alabama in 1972. He was retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers as a Civil Engineer. Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 9am until graveside service at 10am in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
