Robert Fowler

Robert James Fowler , age 82, passed away in Theodore, AL on November 28, 2025.

Robert was a proud member of the Union Local 119. He grew up with horses and was skilled polo player, horse trainer, and took part in the Deep South Stampede. He was a devoted husband and Catholic man with a heart of gold. He was also a passionate fan of Alabama Football. Robert will be deeply missed by all whose lives were touched by him.

Preceded in death by his wife Delores Fowler, step-daughter, Donna Olmstead Odom, parents, Alvin and Lucille Fowler, and siblings, Betty and (Chuck) Nichols, Bubba Fowler, and brother-in-law, Jimmy McMichael.

He is survived by his siblings, Jean and Sig Sullivan, Bobbie McMichael, and sister-in-law, Freck Fowler; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends; loving caregivers until he passed, nieces, DeWannda Smith and Gabrielle Smith

Visitation will be at St. Vincent De Oaul Catholic Church on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral mass. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
