Robert Allen Nicholson
1930-2019

A native and resident of Theodore, AL died on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the age of 88. Mr. Nicholson was retired after 39 years as a school teacher, 37 of those with the Mobile County Public School System. He was a big Alabama fan, was an avid reader and loved gardening. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Lou Nicholson; three sons, Joe Allen (Beth) Nicholson, Warren Henry (Kathy) Nicholson and Robert Anderson Nicholson; seven grandchildren. Graveside services and interment are scheduled for Friday, January 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM in Mobile Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 12:00 till 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made in Mr. Nicholson's name to Theodore First Baptist Church.
