Ronald Glenn Powers

Ronald Glenn Powers, age 78, resident of Theodore, AL, was born on May 29th, 1947, and passed on May 10th, 2026. Ronald was a Davidson High School graduate and continued his education at the University of South Alabama. Ronald loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing, duck hunting, bonfires, karaoke, horses, Alabama football and spending time with family and friends. He loved his family and friends, who will all miss him dearly.

Ronald is preceded in death by: his mother, Ida Louise Powers; his father, Glenn Powers; and his grandmother, Myrtle Powers.

He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Powers; his children, Melissa Thomas (Bryant), Jason Powers (Cara), David Beck (Crystal) and Chelsea Powers (Matt); his grandchildren, Christian Thomas, Zachary Smith, Cody Beck, Taylor Beck, Karlee Beck, Blake Thomas, Jesse Hatcher, Jaxon Hatcher and Jake Powers; 14 great grandchildren and many more other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on May 16th, 2026 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Even in sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that love never truly leaves us. His legacy lives on in his family, in the lessons he taught, and in the lives he touched.
