Rose Reed

Rose Lynn Reed, age 73, passed away peacefully on October 16 2024 in Mobile, Alabama. She was born on August 27, 1951 in Mobile Alabama to George Victor Laubenthal, Sr.; and Katherine Laubenthal.

Lynn attended high school at Theodore High where she met her husband, Gregory Lynn Reed,

of 48 years. They have two sons, Stephen Gregory Reed and Michael Joseph Reed (Jessica). She was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother ("RoRo") who loved her grandchildren with all of her heart.

Lynn was preceded in death by her father, George Victor Laubenthal Sr.; mother, Katherine Laubenthal; and sister, Katherine Susan ("Sue") Laubenthal Hilburn. She is survived by her husband, Greg Reed; her sons, Stephen Reed and Michael Reed; her brother George Victor Laubenthal, Jr. and grandchildren, Kameryn Lynn Reed and Riley Louise Reed. She is also survived by countless loved ones including nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.

Lynn loved nothing more than to keep everyone on their toes with her witty comments and comebacks. She never shied away from telling someone they were "number 1", no matter which finger was used!

Funeral services celebrating Lynn's life will take place on Tuesday, October 22 at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile, Alabama. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm and graveside services will follow at 12:00 pm.
