Roy Eugene York, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the age of 71. He was a retired ironworker and retired marble installer. He was preceded in death by his father, Grady Jackson York; his mother, Mellonee Elliott Miller and his step-father, Norman Ray Miller, Sr. His survivors include three sons, Troy Eugene (Stephanie) York, Clayton Allen York and Scott Bradley York; his sister, Judy D. York; brother, Norman Ray (Janet) Miller, Jr.; two grandchildren, Tiffany York and Brittany York; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening, November 4, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
