Ruby Stewart

Ruby Gaye Stewart passed away at home peacefully at the age of 85 on Sunday, December 15, 2019.

She was a resident of Eight Mile, Alabama and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. “Tom” Stewart and her son, George T. “Tommy” Stewart.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Paul Whiddon; grandchildren, Justin Mooneyham, Michelle Motes, Baileigh Whiddon, Ashleigh Nicole Jolly, Thomas Lee Stewart II, TJ Stewart; great-grandchildren, Scarlett Weekley and Sophie Stewart.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 20, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
