Ruth Allen

Ruth Mae Byrd Allen May 14, 1929 - March 16, 2017 Mrs. Byrd was born in Citronelle, AL and was a resident of Eight Mile, AL for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Allen; brothers, Tucker Byrd and Grady Byrd; parents, Martha and Edward Byrd and a great grandson, Jacob Powell. She is survived by three children, Donna J. (Walter) Musgrove, Bobby C. (Anna) Allen and Darrell W. (Karen) Allen; sisters, Elizabeth Byrd, Callie Byrd, Minnie Vogtner and Hazel Hupe; brothers, Emery Byrd and Donald Byrd. She was blessed to have 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and other relatives. Visitation will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
