1950-2019

A native and resident of Mobile, AL died on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the age of 68. Mrs. Barnett worked with Dr. Martin Lester for 20 years as a medical transcriptionist. She was an artist, played the guitar and sang professionally for several years. She also had a Black Belt in Karate and loved making people laugh. She was referred to as the Hippie and David as the Marine and many said they wouldn't make it together as a couple more than six months. They proved everyone wrong. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, William David Barnett; siblings, Larry Pritchard and Gayle Hawes. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM.
