Sara Williams Mattingly, age 79 of Spanish Fort, passed away in the comfort of her home on July 10, 2026.

Mrs. Mattingly worked for Christ The King Catholic School as an administrative manager for much of her career. She was very active in her church community at Jubilee Baptist Church where she adored her Sunday School group and worshiping her Lord and Savior. She also loved working outside in the garden and tending to her many pet companions. She will be remembered as a devoted mother and mother.

She was preceded in death by husband, Ned Mattingly; parents, Ernest and Mary Williams; sister, Kathy Williams Rigsby; brother-in-law, Gary Rigsby.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Megan Mattingly, and many friends.

Service will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the graveside service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
