Sara Crenshaw Sharman

Sara Crenshaw Sharman, age 89, passed away in Mobile, AL on December 9, 2025. She was born on August 18, 1936 to Wilfred and Beatrice Crenshaw and raised in Butler, AL. Mrs. Sharman was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Theodore. She had a deep love for ancestry research, and through it she gifted her family a lasting legacy of stories, roots, and cherished history. She will be deeply missed by her family she adored.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. William Mac Sharman; parents, W. W. Crenshaw and Beatrice Crenshaw; siblings, Johnnie Miller Crenshaw, Billy Crenshaw and Gracie Phillips.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Mark) Byrd of Coden, AL; son, Scott (Daniell) Sharman of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, John-Taylor (Savannah) Sharman, William Hunter Sharman, and Abby (Peyton) Mullins; great-granddaughter, Sophia Elizabeth Mullins; and other relatives.

Her family would like to extend special thanks and appreciation to two of Mrs. Sharman's favorite people, Dr. Rihner and Dr. Lambert for their committed care throughout the years.

Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on December 12, 2025, with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. graveside service.
