Scott Anderson

Scott Wayne "Catdaddy" Anderson, age 60, born in Jacksonville, NC and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. Scott loved his granddaughters, his family, football and the beach. He would help anyone with anything at any time even if it was at his own expense, he always brought laughter to everyone especially with his "one liners". He loved the Lord, he was even the captain of the church bus during middle school. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Wayne Anderson, aunts, uncles and grandparents. He is survived by his mother, Shelby Elder Pate, 3 sisters, Kim (Chip) Chlystek , Paige Gobin, Jessie (Scott) Turner, son, Chad (Jennifer) Anderson, 2 granddaughter, Della Kaye Anderson, Ireland Shree Carroll, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 12 noon officiated by Rev. Lonnie Lundy. Visitation will be 11am until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Shawn Ritch, Andrew Hanson, Gerald Goldman, Robin Dill, Joshua Chlystek and Matthew Heiter. The family request in lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the American Cancer Society.
