Mrs. Shannon Nelson, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile died on Saturday, November 28, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Nelson; three children, Sybil Knight, Shannon Martin and Amanda Petersen; nine grandchildren, one great grandchild and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 12 noon from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 11 AM. Burial will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens on Old Pascagoula Rd. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
