Sharon Cole

Sharon Dupuy Cole, age 78, of Gardendale, Alabama passed away on September 14, 2021. Sharon was born in 1943 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Sharon spent most of her life in Mobile raising her family. She was a teaching assistant at Theodore High School for 25 years where she helped raise a generation of students. Her quick wit and roaring laughter made her loved by all. In 2004, Sharon left Mobile to be closer to her young grandchildren. She spent her remaining years in Gardendale.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Dorothy Dupuy, and her husband, William Jackson Cole. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Powell, children, Steve Cole (Shane) of Mobile, Leslie Hall Brown of Mobile, Ernest William "Happy" Hall (Jennifer) of Gardendale and Brian Gaines Hall of Mobile, seven grandchildren, Korra, Amanda, Justin, Michele, Jason, Logan and Tanner, and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 12 noon. The visitation will be 11:00 am until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Graveside will follow.
