Sheila Kay Dycus, age 52, of Mobile Alabama gained her heavenly Angel wings on September 18, 2022. Sheila was born on June 23, 1970, in Duncan, Oklahoma.
Sheila is survived by her husband Mike Dycus, her daughters, Kaitlyn Dycus and Christina Dycus of Mobile, Alabama. Mother, Virginia Nichols of Portsmouth, Virginia and Paulette Smith of Eight Mile, Alabama. Father, Everett (Gwen) Smith of Sterling, Oklahoma. Brothers, Richie (Chrystal) Smith of Oklahoma and Doug (Tiffany) Smith of Virginia. Uncles, Aunts, and many cousins.
Sheila is proceeded in death by her son, Keaton David Dycus. Stepdad, Nick Nichols, and her Grandparents.
Sheila graduated from Duncan High School in 1988. She was a twirler, a part of the band, and she also participated in marching at the Bluebonnet Bowl Parade in 1988. After she graduated high school, she pursued a career in Business Finance. Sheila moved from Oklahoma to Virginia and then to Mobile where she retired in 2013. She was a lover of softball and the Murphy High School JROTC Program. Her daughter Kaitlyn gave her many proud moments in her softball and JROTC journey and her son Keaton gave her many proud moments in his JROTC journey.
Sheila had a very kind soul. She would help anyone at any time. She was the best wife and mother anyone could ever ask for. If you needed anything, all you had to do was call.
Sheila was an Angel here on Earth, now she has her wings and flying high!
