Shelton Sapp

May 20, 1943 - October 17, 2022 Shelton Ronald Sapp, age 79, went home to be with our Lord and Savior in the early morning of Monday, October 17, 2022. Born in Panama City, FL on May 20, 1943 he lived the majority of his life in Mobile, AL. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend He touched us all deeply with his love, wit, and humor. Mr. Sapp was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Bedsole Sapp, his daughter, Kerry Sapp Fernandez; his parents, Shelton Sapp, Laverne Sowell, and Joel Sowell. His survivors include his children, Shelly K. Sapp and S. Brian (Holly) Sapp; grandchildren, Chloe Fernandez, Victoria Fernandez and their father, Will Fernandez; Cameron (Melissa) Sapp, Collin (Sydney) Sapp and Savannah Gordon; sister, Shirley Gray; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Interment of his ashes will be at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery with his much-loved wife. A short graveside memorial service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 10 AM (please convene at Mobile Memorial Garden Funeral Home at 9:30 AM).
