Sheron Delena Zimmer, age 77, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones on July 30th, 2026. She was born on March 1st, 1949, in Nashville, TN. She was married to the love of her life, Kyle Zimmer, for 48 years, and they have been residents of Mobile, AL for most of their marriage. After 30 years of loyal and dedicated service, she retired from Gulf Electric Company in 2011. Family meant everything to her, and she took great joy in maintaining close relationships with relatives near and far. She had a gift for touching lives, and everyone who met her carried a piece of her kindness with them. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Michelle Lane Salters; her parents, Aubrey and Louise Crossland; and her siblings, Bud Crossland, Don Crossland, David Crossland, Deborah Segroves, and Darlene Thompson. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kyle Zimmer; daughter, Lisa (Lonnie) Rawlins; grandchildren, Lauryn and Landon Rawlins; brother, Darrell (Brenda) Crossland; and many other family and friends who will miss her dearly. She was deeply dedicated to the Lord and her family, and we will forever cherish our memories with her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8th, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with a chapel service beginning at 12:00 p.m. with committal services to follow at the Mausoleum in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
