Shirley Leonard

LEONARD
Shirley Madeline Robbins Leonard passed August 17, 2016 at the age of 79. Born December 28, 1936 and a lifelong resident of Mobile. She was a catholic attended 12 years of catholic school, and attended Alaska University and had a degree as a dietitian. In her earlier years she was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church and her current church is Our Savior Catholic Church. She was a retired dietitian with Mobile County Public School System for 32 years, 28 years at Azalea Middle School and 4 years at B.C. Raines High School. Her earlier high school years she was a member of Bishop Toolen Catholic School and played on the Dirty Dozen basketball and volleyball team and a cheerleader at Bishop Toolen. When she passed she was surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her father Shelby J Robbins, mother, Josephine Douglas Robbins, sister, Mary Digulla, brothers, Shelby Robbins and Alvin Robbins and her husband James H. Leonard, and her grandparents. She is survived by her daughter Tina Bryan Walker{Charles R Walker} her son, James L. Bryan III, her grandchildren, Shirley Madeline Walker Yeager{Stephen Yeager} and James L. Bryan IV, and great grandchild Sebastian Walker Yeager. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 2 pm from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
