Sylvia Paulette Shaw, 70, passed away on Saturday. Her service will be Friday Nov. 18, 2016, @Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation is from 1-2, service at 2 followed by internment in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Sylvia was born in Mobile, Al. She retired from Mobile Infirmary after 20+ years. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and person. She loved gardening, angels, and fairies. She was also a talented artist. She is preceded by her parents Durward Bernhardt, Ruby McCollough, and spouse Mack Shaw. She is survived by her 5 daughters: Angie (George) Busby, Wendy (Darren) Turner, Laurie Price, Sherri (Frank) Goss, & Kim (Jason) McCoy. 7 grandchildren: Daniel Turner, Kierston & Summer Goss, Ward, Sean, & Rebecca Price, and Mark McCoy. Her sisters: Deborah Lindsey & Sandi Bernhardt. Her beloved dog Sweet Pea, and too many nieces, nephews, and dear friends to name. She will be greatly missed.
