Thomas Mcduffie

Thomas Red Edward McDuffie of Mobile, AL passed away Wednesday at his home at the age of 77. Thomas was born January 5, 1937 in Semmes, AL. On July 20, 1957 he married the former Mary Ellen Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvie McDuffie and Virginia Christopher McDuffie, and his sister, Evelyn McDuffie Romine. Thomas is survived by his wife, Mary, of 57 years his five children, Rhonda Carl Adams, Doyle Rhonda McDuffie, Karen Barton Hickman, Stacy McDuffie Lyons, Melissa Terry Upchurch siblings, Beatrice Ray Thomas, Earl Sharon McDuffie, Brenda Julian Barrow and many loving grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services, officiated by Reverend Terry L. Upchurch, will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 12 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mmgfuneralhome.com.
