Mrs. Thora Maxine Chase Benson, age 92. Born in Albany, Ohio on May 23, 1924, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Wilson "Pete" Benson. She is survived by her children, DeAnna Benson Jernigan, Richard H. Benson, Rodney W. Benson, and Susan Benson Johnston; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 12 noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
