Tommy Arnold Burke passed away at his home on July 13, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Evelyn Marie Burke; his father, Shirley Burke; his mother, Rosa Strothers; his mother-in-law, Velma Lee Kendrick Miller; his brothers, Bill and Bob; and his sister-in-law, Tammy Albritton.

Tommy was a proud member of Boilermakers Local 112, where he worked as a boilermaker for 30 years, making many friends along the way. He was an avid racing enthusiast and talented car builder who found great joy at the racetrack and in the camaraderie of the racing community. He was also a proud Alabama Crimson Tide fan and rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on the Tide.

He is survived by his sister, Brenda Easterling (Ross); his brother-in-law, Jeff Albritton; his daughters, Tianna Leigh Burke, Amanda Denise McMillian, and Ashley Pugh; his sons, Dorian McMillian and Darian McMillian; his beloved grandchildren, Chelsea Hayes (Brian), Faith Patterson (Mitch), Tiffany Canady (Isaiah), Marcus Scott, Kristen Robertson, and Alana Ciaburri (Whitney); his honorary granddaughter, Rachael Sewell; his cherished great-grandchildren, Alex, Nate Jr., Shelby, Brian Jr., Cash, Bennett, Joel, Isla, Ava Kate, Vivian, Jordan, Alexa, Ariyah, and Malachi; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews, other cherished family members, and close friends.

Tommy will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his passion for racing, his love for Alabama football, and the love he had for his family and friends. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
