Tommy Hughes

Mr. Tommy R. Hughes, a native of Crenshaw, Mississippi and a longtime resident of Mobile County, Alabama residing in Grand Bay, died on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. He retired after 36 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and retired recently after 20 years at Lowe's. Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by his parents, Elton Curtis Hughes and Vera Louise Allen Hughes Brewer. He is survived by his wife, Earline Hughes; two children, Elton Hughes and Katrina Hughes (Chadwick Shoemake); three grandchildren, Keleri Chasteen, Kannon Chasteen and Karbry Shoemake; two sisters, Betty McNair and Carolyn (Don) Witt; two brothers, Bobby (Linda) Hughes and Donnie (Sandra) Hughes; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorial services will be held at First Baptist Church of Tillman's Corner on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 6 pm. Visitation will start at 4 pm Monday at the church.
