In Loving Memory of Vann Cecil Martin Vann Cecil Martin, 75, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026. Born on June 12, 1951, in Mobile, Alabama, Vann attended B.C. Rain High School before proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force. He later retired from the Chevron Refinery in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Vann found joy in life's simple pleasures. He had a true passion for gardening and took great pride in caring for his yard and spending time outdoors. A devoted Alabama Crimson Tide fan, he looked forward to every football season and never missed an opportunity to cheer on the Tide. Above all, Vann was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his wife and true love, Terry Michelle Martin. He is survived by his sister, Deborah Martin; his brother, Ray Martin; sons, Ryan Martin, Nathan Martin, and Kevin Martin; his niece Candice Selwyn, and his beloved grandchildren, Avalea Richardson, Lylah Richardson, Weston Richardson, Kristen Martin, Ethan Martin, and Tenley Martin. Vann will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering work ethic, and deep love for his family.

He touched the lives of many through his kindness, generosity, and steady presence. The lessons he taught, the memories he created, and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. While his family mourns his passing, they also celebrate a life well lived and take comfort in knowing his legacy will live on through the family he loved so dearly. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
