Vera Dixon

Vera Jones Dixon, 88, of Mobile passed away on January 26, 2025.
Vera was born in Mississippi on February 17, 1936 to Oscar Huey Jones, Sr and Lottie Strickland Jones. After graduating from State Line High School, Vera started her career in accounting. Vera worked as an accountant until her retirement. Vera loved gardening and crossword puzzles and sitting in her back yard.
Vera is survived by her son, Roger Dixon; sister, Audrey Long; grandson, Ryan Dixon.
Vera's family will celebrate her life with a funeral service on Thursday February 13, 2025 at 11:00 am at Johnson Creek Cemetery in Stateline, Mississippi.
