Virginia Hartman

Virginia Rivers Hartman (Ginger) age 81 of Pensacola, FL, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children to join the Lord in eternal peace, on Thursday April 11 2024.

      Ginger was born on December 12, 1942 in Washington County, AL. Ginger lived a rich and fulfilling military spouse's life.Serving, supporting and volunteering for fellow military families. She also was dedicated to her family, friends and passions.

      Virginia leaves behind her daughter: Tracy Carlson and her son: Joseph Carlson, her grandchildren: Nathan Carlson (Melissa), Cody Carlson, Virginia (Gina) Carlson, and her great grandchildren: Benjamin, Aubree, Evelinn, Wrathell, Romeo, Kai, and her beautiful sisters: Edna (Rivers) Baumann, Mary (Rivers) Remus, Dianne (Rivers) Irby and all  who knew her.
      She is preceeded in death by her parents: Needham and Hattie (Weaver) Rivers, her beloved son: Jonathan Carlson, her loving brothers: Elvin Rivers, George Rivers, Needham Rivers Jr. and Anthony Rivers.

       A Celebration of life will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Mobile, AL on Saturday May 4th 2024. Visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm, with services starting at 2pm.
