Wally Marks Sr.

Wally H. Marks, Sr., known by many as "Son", departed from his loving family at his residence into the arms of Jesus on Sunday morning, January 1, 2023. He was born February 5,1931, and has been a lifelong resident of Mobile County, AL, except while serving 4 years in the US Navy during the Korean War.

Wally was blessed with many talents, able to accomplish almost whatever he began. He was a great teacher of his talents, also a Bible scholar.

Wally was predeceased by his parents: William Marks & Bertha Marks; 3 brothers: Levert Marks, WT Marks, & Therrel Marks; 3 sisters: Kathleen Brouse, Marcie Tiemann, & Edith Boone. He is survived by his WIFE of almost 65 years in a few days, Erie Evans Marks; DAUGHTER: Lisa Marks Kennedy (Elton) & family: Lindsey Kennedy Perot (James) & children: Abby, Logan & Lucas Perot; Timothy Kennedy (Shannon O'Connor, fiancée), Stephanie Kennedy. SON: Wally Marks, Jr. (Michelle) & family: Autumn Marks, Summer Marks, Amber (Bryan) Keyser & children: Finn & Salem Keyser; Abby Culpepper & children: Zariah, Raya, & Legend Culpepper; Devin Welch. SON: Keith Marks (Marsha) & Jonas, the macaw & all the little birds.

Funeral services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
Visitation will be at 11am, followed by services in the chapel at 12 noon. Graveside services follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Kennedy, Larry Smith, Summer Marks, James Perot, Devin Welch, & Bryan Keyser.
