William Combs Jr.

William Russell Combs Jr., a native of Akron, Alabama and a long-time resident of Mobile, Alabama, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, October 16, 2021. Mr. Combs was employed by Scott Paper Company and Kimberly Clark for 32 years. He was also a member of Seven Hills Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William R. Combs and Eunice Catherine Luna. His survivors include his two sons: Russell Daniel Combs Combs of Mobile, Alabama and William Russell Combs III of Mobile, Alabama; three grandchildren, Abigail Combs of Mobile, Alabama, Mary Catherine Combs of Hurley, Mississippi, and Matthew Blake Combs of Hurley, Mississippi.

Visitation for friends and family will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Last Supper section of the cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com
