William Ezell, Sr.

William "Skeeter" Wesley Ezell, Sr., a native of Meadville, MS and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Monday, January 25, 2016 at the age of 92. He retired from Scott Paper Company and was a US Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Ezell and Lois Opal Cooper Ezell; his wife of 70 years, Zelline Taylor Ezell; his sisters, Sara Ezell Tolar and Katie Ezell Tolar. His survivors include his children, Wesley (India) Ezell, Don (Beth) Ezell and CynD (Peggy) Ezell; his step-daughter, Nita (Charles) Robbins; his sister, Stella Ezell Hindman; his brother, Benjamin (Ann) Ezell; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 10:00 AM. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Penelope House, P. O. Box 9127, Mobile, AL 36691. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
