William Linden Heath Jr.

William Linden Heath, Jr.(Billy), age 79, passed away in Mobile, AL on April 17, 2026.

Billy was a native and resident of Mobile and a proud graduate of Murphy High School, Class of 1964. He played football for the University of West Alabama in Livingston and finished his degree at Spring Hill College. He went on to enjoy a successful career as a real estate agent with Roberts Brothers, where he worked for many years.

Billy was a devoted member of Dauphin Way Methodist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who found great joy in fishing and hunting.

Known for his larger-than-life personality, Billy had a gift for making others smile. He always had a joke ready and brought laughter wherever he went. Social, outgoing, and full of life, he was truly the life of the party.

He was preceded in death by his father, William L. Heath, Sr; mother, Frances Diamond Heath; and first wife, Debbie Vogelsang Heath.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 32 years, Sadie Roberts Heath; children, Alice Heath, Hunter (Erica) Heath, Beth (Matt) McNally, and Michael (Louisa Twaddell) Carr; grandchildren, Taylor Heath, Margaret McNally, John McNally, Kai Carr, Shepherd Carr, and Emmett Carr; sisters, June Heath (Roe) Acree and Elsie Heath Jordan; other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m at Mobile Memorial Gardens funeral home. Followed by a graveside service in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
