William Leo Thompson, Sr.
A native of Greenville, Alabama and a resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021. A born again Christian, Pastor of Good Shepherd Church for over 48 years. He is survived by his son; William Thompson; daughter and husband Michelle and John Suther; daughter, Shan and Chris Smith and son, Davey Thompson. Blessed with a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, many relatives and numerous friends. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Thompson and daughter, Lanie Hearn. Bill was a member of Law Enforcement for over 40 years with Alabama State Troopers, Mobile Police Department, Alabama State Constables, Alabama Port Authority Police and was a US Army Veteran. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 10am from Good Sheperd Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5 to 8 pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6040 Three Notch Rd. Mobile, AL 36619. Interment will be hedl in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
