Age 86 of Wilbar, NC and longtime resident of Mobile, AL passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 28, 2020. She was reunited with her parents, William Henry Spears and Ora Dell Griffin Spears; her beloved husband, Marshall Paul Neaves, Sr; son, Jerry Arthur Neaves; eight sisters; one brother. Her children will continue to carry her legacy in this life with their children, Diane Neaves (Wylie) Northcutt, Marshall Paul (Alice) Neaves, Jr; grandchildren, Charlotte (Michael) Herrero, Curt (Melissa) Drum, Adam (Hallie) Neaves, Brad Neaves, Wayne Neaves; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandson; brothers in law, Lee McClure and Budd Wyatt; along with nieces and nephews. Arvie retired from Eckerd Drugs as District Supervisor. She was a faithful member of Calvary Assembly of God. She was a shining example of God's love and faithfulness to her family, friends and all she met. A private graveside service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 1:00 PM officiated by Pastor David Edwards. The family wishes to express their thankfulness to Kindred Hospice for the devoted care they have given these last months. A very special thank you to Erika Dobbins, RN and Jennifer Warren, who in difficult times always made us smile.
