Betty Hagler

Betty Brister Hagler passed away on March 21,2021, due to complications from a longstanding illness. Born Betty Cleo Brister in 1931 in Jayess, Mississippi, she has been a resident of Mobile, Alabama, since , WWII. She was 89. She was preceded in death by her parents, James R. Brister and Lillian B Howell, and grandson, Elliott Hagler.
She is survived by son, Keith Hagler (Cindy), daughters, Sharon Strickland (Sandy) and Sheila Beckham; seven grandchildren, Dallas Hagler (Amy), Tiffany Richardson (Will), Sean Strickland (Jackie), Seth Strickland (Liz), Scott Strickland (Courtney), Amanda Wyatt (Danny), Kelly Hayman (Brian); thirteen great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 12 noon. The family will receive friends from 11 am until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
