Carl Spears, Sr.

.Carl E. Spears Sr., born to Wm. Fon Spears and Betty Ellen Ament Spears in Harrisburg, Ar. On October 14, 1936, youngest of 8 siblings, leaves behind wife Avon Spears of 35 years; 3 children, Carl Spears, Jr. (Colleen), Carla Smith (Keith), and Sherry Matos; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends; extended family of 3 children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Carl enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf, watching western movies and Arkansas football, baseball, and all sports. He worked in insurance for 45 years and retired in 2003, then moved to Florida to play more golf, the love of his life, (2) hole in ones.
Funeral services will be held from the Chapel on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
