Claude Joseph “Joey” Proctor, 56, of Mobile, AL went to be with his Lord Sunday, January 5, 2020. Joey was loved by all who met him. He was an employee of Lexus of Mobile for the past 20 years, and was known for his fun and friendly nature and contagious smile. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude J. Proctor; his brother-in-law, Bob White and his sister, Lisa Morgan. His survivors include his mother, Carmen “Boots” Morgan; step-father, Carl Morgan; two brothers, Frank (Cindy) Huckabee and Michael (Anita) Huckabee; five sisters, Nita (Chad) Coleman, Jackie White, Tina (Robby) Landers, Terry (Bob) Lila and Melody (Tim) Hawie; other relatives, friends and his loving Veet’s family. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Allaway Frank Huckabee, will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 10:00 AM until service time. Entombment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
