Dolores was born to Edward and Viola Caverlee Marshall in Chicago Illinois, October 8, 1930. She was the oldest of 5 children. Dolores graduated in 1948 from Providence High School, Alexandria, Louisiana. In 1950, Dolores married B. John Fey and accompanied him from Army assignment to assignment until he was stationed in Korea during the Korean War. After the war, John and Dolores settled in Alexandria, Louisiana where John took a position with Delta Air Lines. It was in Alexandria where their three children where born: John Alan, James Andrew and Julie Ann. In 1984, John and Dolores moved to Mobile, Alabama where John helped open a new terminal for Delta Airlines. In both Alexandria and Mobile, Dolores worked as a bookkeeper for her Catholic Parish. She loved to crochet and spent hours making gifts for loved ones. She was an avid reader, loved old movies, had a wicked sense of humor and kept us laughing until the week before her passing.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life, John and her brother Bill. She is survived by her three children, John Alan (Kathleen), James Andrew (Tennie) and Julie Ann. She is also survived by her brother Ed; her sisters Joanne and Mary; her brother in law, Fr. Thomas J. Fey; her grandchildren Matt, Tiffany (Phillip), Pamela and Timothy; and great grandchildren Zachary and Kathryn.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 5-8pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Rosary being said at 6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 2pm from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
