06/29/1944 - 02/18/2021 - Gloria Barnes Merritt, age 76,
a lifelong resident of Bayou La Batre, AL. Passed away on
Thursday, February 18, 2021.
Mrs. Merritt was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and
Ethel(Rhodes) Knight and Eugene Barnes and husband James
Merritt.
She is survived by her son, Darrell Bosarge and grandson, Jeremy
Bosarge. Sisters; Dot Logan and Melinda(Terry) Dolbare Sr.;
Brothers; Billy(Patsy) Knight and Terry(Ann) Knight. Numerous
nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers are: Frank Collier, Jonathan Dolbare, Bill Knight,
Michael Knight, Kenny Logan and Darian Brown.
Graveside Services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, March 2, 2021 Services
will be performed by Pastor Teddie Turrentine of Friendship Baptist Church Grand Bay. Interment will be in Oddfellow Cemetery.
